In fact, that is the only thing that made me feel better about going there as I knew the theatre staff would do a great job. The MW who looked after me (she also did the pre- op assessment) was more than lovely. WebPlease note there is no railway station in Maldon. Hatfield Peverel, which is approximately 5.4 miles from the hospital, is the nearest station to the hospital and Maldon is approximately a 30 minute drive from Chelmsford. There is a bus service available to Maldon from Chelmsford. Refreshments. There's a restaurant at St Peter's, Le Caf.
