WebThe taro leaves was expensive (and that's ok). But there was a strong smoky smell with the leaves. Perhaps that's how the dry them, I don't know. That strange smell transferred in cooking to the pork I was making. Overall taste and texture of the leaves cooked was ok/good. A while later, it did left a strange aftertaste in my mouth.
