Before you start the fight, pop an elixir and a tonic. Physical damage classes will probably want Battle Elixir and casters will want Malevolence Elixir.

IF it does cancel the damage buff (which I highly doubt it does, then again idk), Drakath still gains power over time. The only reason why you're not dying is because of the team support, specifically AP.
